Classmates of the Northeast Class of 1971

Our 55th class was a huge success! Each night we had at least 90 to a over 100 in attendance! I hope you were able to attend! There were people there from California, Nevada, Florida, Colorado, Iowa, South Dakota, Wyoming, Arizona and of course Nebraska. There are a lot of pictures on our class Facebook page Lincoln Northeast Class of 1971 Updates if you are on Facebook. Ask to join if you aren't a member. I would like to thank our planning committee Cheryl Tomasek Piontek, Julianne Johnson Ross, Joyce Meyers Ore, Mary Vanden Bosch Schukei, Fran Jiminez Baatz and Bev Young Ludden. Thanks to Rebela Shipps Swensen for sharing her pictures from the reunion including the elementary school and junior high groups. I will try and post some on this website also. Also, thanks to Jerry Renaud for sharing the video flash drive made for the 1981reunion so I could show it this year! After a few technical difficulties I think everyone enjoyed it and had a few laughs. I will try and get it posted on both the website and Facebook page.

Our planning committee started meeting monthly over a year ago and had so much fun meeting for lunch that we decided to continue meeting just because! If anyone wants to join us for lunch, just email lne50yearreunion@gmail.com and let us know and I can let you know when and where! We'd love for you to join us! Or if you're from out of town and get to Lincoln from time to time, we could organize a mini class reunion just for YOU! Thanks again all of you that came to the reunion! If you didn't come you missed a lot of fun!

On a more somber topic: Remember to let us know when someone in our class passes away. We know of 31 since the 50th reunion.

Plans are for a 60th reunion in 2031! Everyone stay healthy and we'll see you in 5 years if not before! Remember: ONCE A ROCKET- ALWAYS A ROCKET! Love you all!

Some of us met when we were in grade school, some in junior high and we all met at Northeast. Some of us stayed connected and some drifted apart because life takes us in different directions. Much time was taken to try and find contact information for about 500 people. Please update your information if it changes! It's fun to keep connected.  Hopefully, we can connect with more classmates and get more updated contact information. Emails will be sent periodically and reunion announcements you can only see if you set up your profile. 

Sadly, 90+ of our classmates (that we know of) are no longer with us. Please click on "In Memory" at the top of this page to read those names. If you know of deceased classmates that aren't on the list, please let us know so they can be added.

To add to or make changes to your profile, please click on "Classmate Profiles"  find your name and set up your profile to reconnect. Answer the questions. Tell us what you've been up to! Add a picture or two. You can update your profile at any time! When you are finished with your profile, be sure and click on "Save Changes" at the bottom!

 In the end, we all want the same thing: to get together with classmates to laugh, reconnect and make good memories. The domain name has been purchased and the website security has just been made renewed for 5 more years so classmates can keep in touch here. Be sure to update your information if it changes.
